Welcome to my creative world, where imagination shapes the digital canvas. Since starting as a freelance artist in 2016, I've continuously pushed the boundaries of what art can achieve. My journey reached a turning point when I immersed myself in the world of game design, earning a Master of Arts in the field. Here, I found the perfect fusion of dynamic storytelling, immersive gameplay, and striking visuals—capturing the impossible with every project.
Mastering the game development pipeline has been more than a technical journey; it has been about transforming visions that defy traditional art forms into experiences players can live. Tank game randomized level system design
This project consists of two main components: procedural terrain and a randomization system.
Procedural terrain allows developers to quickly iterate on map designs by using Houdini assets just by modifying parameters, or even create a series of copies of the map
The randomization system randomly modifies the position of obstacles (in this project cliffs were used) at the start of each game
Integrating Houdini with Unreal Engine, along with leveraging Houdini Digital Assets (HDAs), streamlines and accelerates game design processes. Houdini's procedural workflow and node-based system simplify the creation of intricate assets. HDAs enable artists to encapsulate procedural workflows as customizable assets, fostering a non-destructive design approach. This collaborative synergy between Houdini and Unreal not only expedites asset creation but also facilitates iterative design exploration. The procedural nature of Houdini empowers game designers to quickly generate diverse environments, animations, and effects, promoting efficiency and creativity within a professional development pipeline.
